LAUNCHINGFebruary 1, 2027

Completion isn’t Competency.
Here’s how WorkForge Shift proves it.

Everything in the first release of WorkForge Shift, the training platform built for food manufacturing. Streamlined for admins, tailored to each role and available February 1, 2027.

The competency framework

Learn It. Know It. Practice It. Prove It.

Completion isn’t competency. WorkForge Shift lets you easily create five content types that guide each worker from learning the material to proving they can do the job, all in one record.

A completed Knowledge Check card, then chevrons, then a completed Behavior Check signed by the learner and Validator

Learn It

Courses and SOPs build understanding of the material and the procedure.

Know It

Knowledge Checks confirm the knowledge stuck.

Practice It

Engagements put coaching on the floor, run by supervisors.

Prove It

Behavior Checks confirm the job gets done right on the floor.

Content Builder

Build it once. Train in their language.

SOP training shouldn’t take weeks to create and roll out. Content Builder puts every content type in one place, built from simple blocks, and translates as you build.

  • Build Courses, SOPs, Knowledge Checks, Engagements and Behavior Checks from reusable building blocks
  • Start from scratch, or upload the PDFs, videos and images you already use
  • Pick your languages and each one becomes its own auto-translated draft to review before you publish
Animated, illustrative Content Builder: blocks are dragged into an SOP, then it is translated into Spanish and Canadian French drafts for review
Animated, illustrative Review Queue: an overdue SOP in three languages is updated to version 3.0 in every language and set to retrain everyone assigned
Versions and review

Keep every SOP current, in every language.

When a procedure changes, the training changes with it. Every language shares one version and publishes together.

  • The Review Queue surfaces anything near or past its review date, sorted by urgency
  • Publish a minor update, or a major one that can retrain everyone who completed it
  • Nothing is published until every language is updated
Knowledge Checks

Know the training stuck.

Knowledge Checks grade themselves. Miss a concept, and a remediation question reteaches it on the spot, so workers learn it instead of just retaking the test.

  • Self-grading, with 100% to pass by default
  • Remediation questions reteach a missed concept right away
  • See which questions people miss, by site and shift
Animated, illustrative Knowledge Check on a tablet: a missed question is reteached by a remediation card and the learner passes at 100%
Animated, illustrative Engagement then Behavior Check: a supervisor coaches four workers and everyone signs; a Validator confirms a prompt with a photo and the record locks
ENGAGEMENTS AND BEHAVIOR CHECKS

Coach it. Prove it. On the floor.

Supervisors coach the crew with Engagements. Then a Validator watches the work and confirms it with a Behavior Check. Both are signed on the spot. No clipboards, no guesswork.

Engagements

  • Supervisor-led coaching with up to 25 workers at once
  • Complete or Requires Action, with a coach note
  • The facilitator and every worker sign

Behavior Checks

  • A Validator observes up to 5 learners on the floor
  • Up to three photos per prompt
  • Both sign, then the record locks
Learning Plans

Training that runs itself.

Drag in Courses, SOPs, Knowledge Checks and Behavior Checks, put them in order and assign the plan. Reuse the same content across plans without copying it. Rule-based groups stay current as people join and leave. Add Tags to each Learning Plan with the standard, regulator or program it supports, so you can easily report on it by standard.

Animated, illustrative Assurance Track builder: content is dragged into order, then two rule-based user groups are assigned

Assurance Tracks

Regulatory and compliance training with due dates and the order you set.

Skill Tracks

Ongoing qualifications that renew on schedule, so nobody works a station they aren’t qualified for.

Training Bulletins

Urgent training that reaches the floor fast and expires on its own within 14 days.

Group Knowledge Sessions

Train the whole crew at once.

Gather the shift, deliver the training together and put every attendee on the record. No quiz, no passing score, just an auditable record of who was there.

  • Led by a facilitator, on the floor or in the break room
  • Records that meet SQF training-record requirements
  • Every attendee recorded

  • Built for huddles and changeover briefings

Animated, illustrative Group Knowledge Session: a facilitator marks five attendees as attended and records the session
Audit-ready records

One record. Audit-ready every day.

See where every person stands, and hand your auditor records that show behavior, not just signatures.

Animated, illustrative audit-ready record: one learner moves through Learn It, Know It, Practice It and Prove It to Complete, beside status by person and Skill Track
